Paediatric Dental Sleep Medicine Course
This 2-day course feature medical and dental experts and co-directors of Pediatric Dental Sleep Mini-residency program at Tufts University, Drs Umakanth Katwa and Audrey Yoon.
They were joined with a combination of local and international guest presenters.
The aim was to equip participants to better identify children at risk of disturbed breathing during sleep and poor craniofacial development, and the integrative treatment pathways to help minimise the burden of disease burden.

The collection of world leaders in their fields complemented each other perfectly to present the entire picture of airway health. All speakers were very knowledgeable and approachable and readily shared their knowledge with the audience. More practitioners involved with children need to attend these courses.

A very informative course which highlighted the importance of an interdisciplinary collaborative approach in the management of paediatric obstructive sleep apnea. The program was well structured, and the speakers were excellent. The information provided has been extremely useful in my clinical practice as well as in raising ideas for future research and collaboration. I really enjoyed the course and thought the breadth and depth of information was fantastic. I feel a lot more confident examining my paediatric patients and referring them to appropriate specialists early.
